Giveaway! | Celebrating 25 Years of Dermalogica SA

There is just something about Dermalogica. Their skin care products and facial treatments have long been a favourite of mine. If you are a regular reader of this blog you'll know that I've reviewed many of their products and facial treatments over the years (click here to read those posts). So when Dermalogica asked me if I'd like to have a product to give away to one of my readers to help them celebrate 25 years in South Africa, I had to say YES immediately.

I was sent the Clear Start Blackhead Clearing Fizz Mask, which fortunately is a product I had already previously bought for myself so it's something I can share with you to help you decide if this is a competition you would like to enter - but if you already know you want to enter you can jump to the end of this post to get those details.

The Clear Start range is specifically formulated for acne or spot prone skin types and although I have a dry / sensitive skin type, this product has worked wonders for me. I battle with small blackheads in the side creases of my nose, which is really difficult area to get to with normal exfoliation and treatment. When I first saw the Fizz Mask advertised, I went to my local Dischem to get it immediately.

The product is formulated to target blackheads, clearing out your pores which prevents breakouts from forming.  It has a active fizzing formula that activates on application. The product contains the following key ingredients:

1. Sulfur which provides antimicrobial benefits to keep skin clear.
2. Kaolin Clay which absorbs excess oil and purifies the skin.
3. Apple fruit extract to hydrate the skin.

You'll feel the product start working as soon as it starts fizzing - it's a gentle almost ticklish feeling on your skin that isn't unpleasant at all.  I use this 3 times a week on my nose area and whenever I see an area that looks slightly congested (between my eyebrows and on my chin area). What I like is that this treatment works within 3 - 5 minutes so it is something I have been able to add to my skin care routine very easily.  After use the area looks clearer and my skin feels so smooth and soft. I love that it doesn't dry out my skin and the area never feels tight and dry after a treatment.

This product is only R329.00 for 50ml which is a great great price for such an effective product. Another great thing, this product is vegan, gluten and cruelty free. Formulated without artificial fragrance, dyes or mineral oils.
