Life Update

I know it has been very quiet on here and the thing is, it is not that I don't want to blog. I just have other things that are more of a priority at the moment.

I am currently busy with a short course, into week 3 of 6. It is quite time consuming and difficult to get to after a long day at work. However, it is really interesting and given me a lot of fresh perspectives when it comes to my day to day work.

Other than that, JP and I haven't made too much progress on the courtyard area because of the (much needed) rain in Cape Town. We've finished off our kitchen renovations almost completely - just need to paint the ceiling. Really loving the new space and how much better it works. I should actually post some photos of them - watch this space!

We have a long weekend planned for JP's birthday, I can't wait for the break. We haven't yet decided on if we'll do an anniversary trip this year. We'll have to see how finances go. We have a few things to take into account and also some renovations we need to do on our garage.

JP and I have been making good use of the Entertainer app - already more than made our money back. What is nice is that we get to try out new places while saving some money. The wine estate deals are especially great for us because we get to explore new places. I share quite a bit on my Instagram account, I am gee_whiskers.

Anyway, just wanted to come on here to say hi and update you on what has been going on.
