Lamelle Corrective Hydrating HA Plus

For someone who battles with dry skin, whenever I am contacted to try out a hydrating product I always jump at the opportunity. Lamelle sent me a 30ml tube of their Corrective Hydrating HA Plus Quick Absorbing Serum to test out a while ago and I have been giving it a thorough test.

The serum is a yellow / gold gel like serum that is packaged in an airtight pump tube. It is quite running in consistency which makes is easy to absorb into the skin. One pump is more than enough to cover your entire face, neck and chest area. I even have enough to cover my ears and the back of my neck – yes, I do treat those areas too as they do show signs of ageing.

The serum is formulated to help your skin trap water which is important for cell metabolism and creating a healthy skin barriers. This is achieved through Hyaluronic Acid (HA). A healthy skin barrier makes your skin look and feel plump and hydrated – this means those fine dehydration lines (that can actually lead to premature wrinkles over time) are also plumped out and therefore this helps prevent premature ageing. Added to these benefits, the serum also has HAfi fragments that stimulate cell production which helps your skin heal.

Main ingredients:

HAfi Fragments, Hyaluronic acid, NMF boosters, Essential Fatty Acids and soothing Aloe Vera Extract.

I use this twice a day, because my skin is so dry at the moment. As I mentioned previously, you only need one pump. I find that if I use more than one pump of the serum the product leaves a bit of a sticky feeling on my skin. One pump of the product leaves no sticky feeling on my skin because the product is fully absorbed. The product isn’t scented, which is good for those who have sensitive skin and prefer unscented products.

The main thing I have noticed when using this product is the “plumpness” around my eye area. I look more awake and the fine lines around my eyes are less noticeable. On the rest of my face, my skin looks less dull and feels smoother to the touch.

I’ve really enjoyed using this serum and have been so happy with the results. I like that it absorbs quickly so that I don’t have to wait before applying my moisturiser. Because it is fully absorbed into my skin, I don’t have to worry about it overheating my skin. In summer if I wear too many products my skin sweats and often leaves me with a heat rash.
