Lipidol | Overnight Face Oil

Winter really plays havoc with my dry skin. To help keep my skin hydrated I am heavily reliant on good quality facial oils to give my skin what it needs and lock in moisture. Lipidol sent me their Overnight Face Oil to try out. The funny thing is that I have actually bought this in the past for myself as well as my Mom.

The Oil has been designed to rejuvenate your skin and prevent moisure loss while you sleep. Fragranced with Ylang-Ylang and Black Pepper essential oils, it helps to give you a good night's rest by calming your mind. These essential oils also help to protect your skin due to their antioxidants and increases blood circulation.

One of the really great things about Lipidol is their affordability. Face oils are expensive, I know this because I purchased a lot of them. This product is only R89.95. Seriously, this is so affordable for such a good quality product.  I've tried out a few Lipidol products (and still purchase many of them) and can testify to the effectiveness of their products (read a past review here).

A little bit goes a long way with face oils. You can apply it directly to your skin or add a few drops to your moisturiser. The way I like to use them is by dispensing a few drops into the palm of my hand (typically 5 - 10 drops depending on how dry my skin is), I then rub my hands together to warm the oil up, then gently press my open hands against my face. I'll also leave my hands on my skin for a while just to warm up my skin to allow the oil to settle into the skin. After this I apply my normal evening moisturiser to my skin to lock everything in. This facial oil has definitely helped keep my skin moisturised and the fragrance is actually perfect to get you ready for a good night's rest.
