• My MAC Favourites

I own quite a few MAC products and thought it could be fun to share three of my favourite products. It isn't easy limiting a post to only 3 products but it is nice to challenge myself to share products I feel are worth it.
These are multi-use products, which I always love. A product that can do more than one thing always wins in my books. It means you get more value for your money at the end of the day.
MAC has many cult favourites and one of them is definitely the Strobe Cream.  It is an illuminating cream that can be used under your foundation or mixed in with it to add some luminosity.  The cream has iridescent particles in it which works wonders at brightening dull skin. A 50ml bottle is R450, which isn't cheap but the reason I wanted to get this is that this isn't simply a makeup product, it has great ingredients in the cream to add a bit extra to your moisturiser while enhancing the appearance of your skin. I don't always apply this to my whole face, but sometimes just to my cheek area.
The Fix+ spray is another product MAC is well known for. It is a finishing mist that helps your layers of makeup "to become one". When you use this your makeup looks far more natural and even, especially when you use powder products. It is also great to use when your skin just needs a bit of a boost. Another great use for this is to wet eyeshadows when you want the pigment to be more dark. What I do is have a few dry makeup brushes which I use to pick up the eyeshaodw, I then use the fix+ spray to wet the shadow on the makeup brush, which I then apply to my eyelids. I don't like using a wet brush directly in an eyeshadow as some of the powders become quite difficult to pick up once dried. This is now called Prep and Prime at MAC and a 100ml bottle costs R250.
Lastly are my Lustre Drops. I LOVE THIS STUFF! I have the shade Pink Rebel which adds some colour to my dull skin.  This can be used directly on top of foundation on areas where you want to add a bit of a highlight or added to your foundation to give your whole face a luminous look. I find that this gives my dry, dull complexion some life. This is quite expensive, R250 for 18ml but you only need a drop or two at a time.  This product travels well and is just a great thing to have on hand when you skin needs a bit of life. I even use this as a wash over my eye lids when I want a no makeup bright faced look.

    Big Hugs,

    3. I currently do not own any MAC products but always interested to see what they have. The Fix+ is a good buy for 100ml. The lustre drops - Wow! I did not know about this and will be interested to try this out for sure ;)
