I initially bought the shade Copper which is actually a really beautiful brightening shade on my skin that is perfect to cover your lid with and head on your way. It is so easy to use and I love that I can have a made up eye look without too much effort. I have found that when applied, this eyeshadow cream sits put for the whole day and looks good right until I remove it. I don't have oily skin but I do apply my foundation over my eyelids so that does help this product last. Because this lasts so well, I have actually started using copper as a base for the brown eyeshadows I like wearing and it definitely helps my powder eyeshadows last all day.
I loved Copper so much that I ended up going to look for more shades where I found Bronze (which a a beautiful rich brown colour that compliments copper so well) and Pink Opal (a very pretty pinkish lilac colour that instantly gives you a bright eyed look). These cream eyeshadow pots are available at Clicks and other department stores that stock the brand. I paid R129 each for mine which is absolutely worth it. They last well, my Copper has really been used very often and is lasting me so well. I haven't noticed any drying nor shrinkage of the cream - by shrinkage I mean that the product actually shrinks inside the pot! I have experienced that with my one Chanel cream eyeshadow which kind of pissed me off because it cost well over R400.

These eye shadows look absolutely lovely... I think they will give colourpop a run for their money and they are available in South Africa. I will definately keep my eye out for these eye shadows... Thanks for the update :)
ReplyDeleteHave you used their blushes? I am interested in the Maybelline cream blushes as well - as they look so nice but have not tried them out yet.
