I love winter; not only because I like my winter wardrobe so much better, but it is also time to light the fireplace, take out the fluffy blankets, have some good red wine and slow-cooked meals. The only downside to winter is my skin becoming very dry and sensitive, as well as chapped hands and lips are a sad given. Below is a list of my five winter must-haves to ease up where winter takes its toll:

1.
Nivea Supreme Touch Cream Shower Oil
(R25)
This shower oil is my go-to body wash this winter. I find it to be
nourishing and deeply moisturizing to the skin. I absolutely adore the fresh,
clean smell and even though fragranced products are normally a no-no for me, I
do not have any sensitivity to this particular body wash.
2.
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Concentrated
Cream (From R10)
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter range is the only product I use in terms of body
and hand lotions. It is absorbed quickly without any sticky residue and I love
the delicious chocolate smell. I always have this little guy in my handbag for
my super dry hands.
3.
The Bodyshop Vitamin E Intense
Moisture Cream (R140)
The Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream is a rich, soothing facial cream
that hydrates like a superstar. It is absorbed quickly by the skin and the
moisturized feeling lasts all day. Even though I have combination skin, I do
not find that it aggravate my oily T-zone.
4.
Clarins Beauty Flash Balm (R435)
Beauty Flash Balm is a must-have for winter to boost a bit of radiance;
fight signs of fatigue and brightens the skin. It really gives you a youthful
glow. I would however take caution if you have oily skin; it is more suitable
for dry to normal skin.
5.
Maybelline Dr Rescue Baby Lips (R32)
Dr Rescue Baby Lips is a great hydrating lip balm with a slight hint of
color and sheen. I do not leave the house without this in my bag.
