• Philips Sonicare Airfloss

I am very lucky to receive some great products to try out but now and then I receive products that completely change up my routine - in a good way. I am really super lazy when it comes to flossing my teeth so when I was sent the Philips Airfloss to try out I was so excited!
The Airfloss machine uses water to spray plaque and build up from between your teeth. The Airfloss has a little chamber for water - the amount of water is the precise amount needed to floss between each of your teeth so you don't have to worry about emptying the water chamber every time. Another great thing is that you can also use mouth wash in the chamber - you just have to make sure that you clean the chamber often.

The guidance tip on the end of the Airfloss is placed in the gap between your teeth and when you are ready you push the Activation Button. It then sprays a mist between the gap and forces plaque out from between your teeth. It is completely pain free as well so if you are one of those people who battle with flossing and end up with sore bleeding gums after wards, this is perfect for you.

What I personally love about this is that I have teeth that are very close together which makes it difficult to floss between all of them. This machine has allowed me to floss ALL my teeth properly.  I also love how my mouth feels very clean and fresh after use.

Here is some information from the press release:
"Dental professionals recommend interdental cleaning once a day, yet less than a third of South Africans floss regularly. With the revolutionary Philips Sonicare AirFloss cleaning between your teeth has never been as quick or easy. Its new autoburst function allows you to simply point and press once to clean the entire mouth in just 30 seconds. It jets a microburst of oxygen and water (or mouthwash) between each tooth at 72 km/h, to effectively yet gently remove plaque and food debris.  Philips Sonicare AirFloss is ideal for those who find flossing too fiddly or time-consuming.  Available from dentists, Dis-Chem and selected pharmacies at a recommended retail price of R1, 399".

The Airfloss definitely makes flossing very quick and easy. What I like about this is that it takes the excuse out of not flossing and ensures my teeth are always clean.

    1. I have been wanting to try one of these flossers that use water for such a long time - initially I only found the Waterpik to be available in SA but now that I know Philips also has one, I'll definitely rather spend my money on a brand I know and trust. :)

    2. I have looked at similar products in the past but I also read that people with sensitive teeth should avoid these. Any thoughts or warnings that came with the product?

    3. When can I get one and how much?

    4. It sounds like a really good product.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment ♡
