I was sent a box of beauty products a while ago and one of the products was the Gliss Hair Repair with Liquid Keratin. This is a hair mask that is said to repair and help protect hair with regular use.
The hair mask is thick and creamy in consistency and also has a very pleasant scent. One thing I really like about this product is that you only need to leave it in your hair for one minute to see the benefits.
I have been using the hair mask for over a month now and found that it does definitely help with the appearance of my hair. However, I have very fine hair that is not dry nor damaged and therefore this product tends to weigh my hair down with regular use. What I have found works better for me is to have one treatment every second week. This helps to nourish my hair without the disadvantages of limp, lifeless hair.
If you have thicker hair that is in desperate need of nourishment I think this will do wonders for you. But ladies with fine hair might be somewhat disappointed with this. If you have fine hair and have used this with successful results, please leave a comment below to share your experience.
Big Hugs,
Charlene

I tried the pink one quite a while ago (shampoo & conditioner) but wasn't impressed, it didn't feel nourishing to my hair and I had to use a serum or something to give it that boost of moisture, do you know if they're cruelty free? :-)

Hi Elrese, Gliss is not cruelty free unfortunately :(
DeleteAre u sure
DeleteI double checked this and they do testing on animals http://features.peta.org/cruelty-free-company-search/cruelty_free_companies_company.aspx?Com_Id=2378&Donottest=-1&Product=0&Dotest=6&RegChange=-1&Country=-1&Keyword=
DeleteI bought this one last week because I swam in a pool with so much chlorine that it stripped my hair from its colour. You can just imagine the damage I sat with. I've used it twice now and it's already improved. Still not up to standard, I'll have to get a haircut for that.
ReplyDeleteI use to battle with my hair too when I did swimming. Only thing that worked was coconut oil. Nest time you swim, rinse your hair out immediately with fresh water and work a little bit of leave in conditioner into your hair :)
DeleteI tried it and I must say I loved the mask , not sure why I never got it again lol great post.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your experience Meghan! At least it works well for other people :)
DeleteI've tried both this one and the pink one and I must admit, it left my hair with quite a bit of product build-up... :( I had to use a clarifying shampoo to get rid of all the build-up. I do have fine hair, though... Thanks for the informative post!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you pretty much experience the same thing as I do :( Glad you found this post informative. You have such a beautiful log. Added you to my bloglovin reading list :)
