• Hello Yves Rocher...Where have you been all this time?

I have been on a mission over the past few months trying to find an affordable face cream that works for my skin and helps with the signs of premature ageing.  I've also been trying hard to find more natural face care products that are affordable and easily accessible. My hunt found me at the Yves Rocher counter at Woolworths over a month ago.  I bought the Hydra vegetal 24h intense hydrating gel cream for only R125.
One thing I notice with my skin is that anti-ageing products weren't really working for me and was jumping from one cream to the next.  I then realised my biggest problem is that I sit in a air conditioned building all day and I often just don't drink enough water throughout the day (because I don't have the time to keep jumping up to go to the loo).  I then switched to hydrating creams and with this one from Yves Rocher within a week I started to notice the difference.

The cream has a rich, silky consistency that is surprisingly light on your skin.  I was worried that because it is not very runny that I would end up with a greasy feeling face. But the cream absorbs very well and leaves my skin feeling wonderfully moisturised and hydrated.  Another thing I love about this cream is that it is both a day AND a night cream.  It's something I really like because I don't really have much space in my makeup drawer to have extra things.

Here is some information on the face cream from the Yves Rocher website:

    BOTANICAL BEAUTY INNOVATION
    MOISTURE CAPTURE BOTANICAL SAPS
Yves Rocher Botanical Beauty Research ® chose Maple and Blue Agave Saps for their amazing moisture-capturing power. Combined with patented botanical Betaine, they create a genuine reservoir of water within skin that:
    - offers a source of lasting moisturizing*
    - distributes moisture throughout the different layers of the epidermis, even the most dehydrated, to guarantee in-depth moisturizing**Skin is filled with water, intensely and lastingly moisturized, as if plumped** and radiant with beauty!

I am so impressed with this cream and the price tag accompanying it that I will be switching over to the products and will pick up some other items on offer.  The makeup is incredibly tempting.  You can purchase Yves Rocher products online from the Woolworths website.

      1. I went out and bought the serum and gel face wash. Even though I've tried so many great products this brand is easy to come by and affordable.
