This is a VERY simple and quick look I do when I feel like bringing out the green in my eyes.
Products used:
- All in one face base from The Body Shop - R145
- The Body Shop single eye colour eyeshadows in shades 29 (a colour slightly pinker than my natural skin tone) and 38 (A subtle green) - Available from The Body Shop Stores for R99 each
- Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in 08 Touch of Glam - Available from Clicks and Dischem
- Rimmel Glam'Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara - R89 which I reviewed a while back.
How to achieve the simple look:
- Prepare your eyelid with either an eyeshadow primer or normal face powder. I prefer using a face base powder.
- Cover your entire eyelid in a light colour that is slightly pinker than your natural skin tone up to the brow bone.
- Use a green eyeshadow to cover your eye lid working from the bottom up. I like to fade it up towards the crease of the eye to make it more subtle.
- Take a purple eye pencil and line the top of your eye lid with quite a thick dark line. Smudge it a little to soften the line.
- Finish the look off with mascara - I used Rimmel Glam'Eyes Day 2 Night mascara using just the lengthening brush.
Tips:
- Line the bottom of your lids with the purple pencil to further bring out the green in your eyes.
That's very pretty and SO easy to do! Xx
