last week friday went for an express manicure and pedicure at the Cayenne Spa in Cape Town, which is housed in the Pepper Club Hotel.  I had such an amazing time there - arriving I spent some time in the sauna before taking a quick shower and going to my treatment room.  Unlike nail salons, proper spa manicures and pedicures are a pure indulgence.  I got to lie back on a treatment bed and was snugly covered up by blankets and towels.  At times I almost dozed off while my nails were being done but the therapist, Maggie, was so friendly and we had a great time chatting.  I was delighted to see that Cayenne Spa uses Essie for their manicures and selected Bangle Jangle because when it comes to nail colours I tend to always go for pinks, purples, nudes and occasionally I go for reds.  It was a great afternoon.
