Products:
- Essence Quattro Eyeshadow in XOXO - R44.95 from Clicks
- Mabelinne Great Lash - Lots of Lashes Mascara - R94.95 from Clicks
- All in one face base from The Body Shop - R145.00 from The Body Shop
How to achieve the simple look:
- Prepare your eyelid with either an eyeshadow primer or normal face powder. I prefer using a face base powder.
- Use a light white colour to cover the entire eyelid.
- Use the black eyeshadow to line the tops of my eyelids from the outer to inner eye. I do a fine line of eyeshadow which I smudge a little to soften it.
- Then take the purple colour and apply to 3/4 of your lids, working from the outer corner inwards.
- Use a teal or silver colour in the corner of your eyelids and smudge over the line where the purple stopped to blend the two.
- Smudge a little of the teal in the crease of your eye and fade up to the your top brow bone. You can also use a little of it under your bottom eyelid if you wish.
- Finish off with a coat of mascara - I used 1 coat of Maybelinne's new Great Lash - Lots of Lashes Mascara.
Tips:
- For an evening look just add more of the eyeshadow to build up the pigmentation and line the bottom of your eye lids with eyeliner.
- Using a purple or silver eyeliner will add a fun twist to this look.

I am by no means a makeup artist, nor am I pretending to be one. All the looks I share will be very simple and easy to do.
