- Essie Nail Polishes - French Affair, Topless & Barefoot; Lilacism and 3-way Glaze. I apply thin nail polish layers during my coffee breaks at work. Doing it like this means your nails dry very quickly and can be finished up during the course of the day. Essie nail polishes dry and harden very quickly.
- Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-chip Top Coat - Perfect for when you are on the go and need something to protect your nails and dries quickly. But it's still important to note that it does not harden nail polish, only makes it dry to the touch. This means that you can still smudge your nail polish, so I usually wait 10 minutes before applying it.
- Essence correction pen - Perfect for correcting mistakes on the go.
- Elegant Touch Nail Polish Remover Pads - An essential for when you chip your nail polish and need to touch up.
- Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Treatment Mascara, Eight Hour Cream Sun Defense for Face and 8 Hour Cream Tinted Lip Protectant Stick in Blush - I adore Elizabeth Arden products. The mascara is fantastic at conditioning lashes. Sunscreen is a must all year round so I carry this sample around with me but I have a full size at home which I'll throw in my bag as soon as it runs up. When I want to wear a lip colour I prefer wearing a tinted lip balm.
- L'Occitane Hand cream
- Balm Balm Lip Balm - The most effective lip balm I have ever used.
- Bee Natural Face Balm - I use this on my cuticles and to moisturise dry spots on my skin.
- Guess Seductive perfume - This changes often as I use up the little samples I receive in my beauty boxes
In case you were wondering, I carry all of this in my Green Cross handbag.
I am loving all the green products in there!
ReplyDeleteI am slowly starting to make my way through all the products I already bought and when they are finish I buy a green alternative :) I don't want to waste the money I have already spent and I definitely don't just want to through all the products away - more wastage. So I'm slowly on my way. A lot of these little green samples are from the Rubyboxes I received - loved that they give you the option to receive green products :)
DeleteThe Bee Natural Face Balm sounds great! This winter has been very brutal :( Do you recommend this and where can I get some? xx
ReplyDeleteHi Charlene!
DeleteThe face balm is really great. I got this in one of my Rubyboxes and use it all the time. What I love is that a little goes a long way and the sample has lasted me so well. I am only half way through it. You can order it online from http://beenatural.co.za/. I don't know if you follow Chicara's blog (Lipgloss Kisses) she did a review on a few of the products :)
Thanks for the info! Will go check out Chicara's review. This winter is so brutal on my skin and it needs all the help it can get! x
DeleteThe L'occitane hand cream equals pure indulgence! So great
ReplyDeleteI know! I don't let ANYONE use it :P It's so bad that when people ask me if I have hand cream I say no...but now after doing this post if friends see they'll know what is lurking inside my handbag! Luckily I received another sample at the Glossybox Stuttafords launch. I still freak out at the thought of spending R100 for a small hand cream. But I'll add a L'Occitane hand cream to my Christmas list :D
DeleteI was in the L'occitane store yesterday. When I saw the hand cream I thought of you:-) They had some specials on. If you buy certin products you get the hand cream with it.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I must definitely go check them out. On Saturday my one friend actually asked me if I had handcream on me and I couldn't lie to her because she had read this post so it did come to bite me in the backside :P LOL Luckily a little does go a long way :)
DeleteHahaha the cons of blogging.
ReplyDeleteSjoe...how big is your handbag? Haha!
