My Tip Top Nail polish prizes
I was going back and forth trying to decide what to base my first post on.  I don't think this is an easy feat for any newbie blogger but I finally decided to write on something that is relevant to be at the moment.  I have always been a lover of nail polishes but seldom use to take the time to apply it to my finger nails because I have always been very busy around the house and in the garden, these activities always destroyed the nail polish on my nails so I just gave up the battle and stuck to only painting my toe nails.  Recently though I have decided that I will not let house work get the better of me and apply the nail polishes that my heart desires.

While walking through Clicks the one day I came across a Tip Top nail polish stand that I had never noticed before (mainly because it was tucked away on the bottom shelf in 2 of the Clicks stores that I usually frequent.).  The colours were so beautiful and I could simply not understand why these nail polishes were placed in such a position that would not show them off.  I hadn't heard of the Tip Top brand before and was very curious to find out more about them.  I discovered that this is a South African company that prided themselves in producing nail polishes that are formaldehyde, dibutylphthlate, camphor and toluene free, which makes them safe to use.

I stumbled across Tip Top nails twitter account and immediately started following them.  They have an absolutely wonderful twitter presence and are incredibly interactive with their followers.  You can't help but join in the conversations with fellow followers and the competitions are amazing! Within my first week of following I won a prize which consisted of 2 nail polishes - Rosebud Cherry (956) and Valentine's Glitter (952). The following week I was fortunate enough to win a second competition, winning 4 colours - Space Cadet (945), Watermelon Jello (904), Cha Cha Cha (980) and Twilight (965).  These were great additions to my Riki Brest glitter nail polishes.

The nail polishes go on smoothly and evenly.  I love how the brush is able to spread easily on the nail to allow you to apply the nail polish in a few strokes.  One can see that a lot of thought went into the design of the bottle and the brush.  Both are easy to grip and use without any hassles.  So far all the nail polishes I have tried are long wearing and stand the test of dishes and light house work.

Tip Tip nails is a brand that should be placed in a prime spot in all Clicks and Foschini stores.  At R40 for a 10ml bottle this is an affordable must for all nail polish lovers and you'll definitely find a colour to suit your every mood.

    On my to get list:
To all twitter followers, I strongly suggest you follow @TipTopNailsSA for nail tips and weekly (and sometimes daily) giveaways.  Tip Top also has facebook sites for their nail polishes and spa-valous candles.
