• La Roche-Posay Lipikar Stick

I know! It has been a LONG time since I last posted. The past few months, since my conference has just been so incredibly busy. But I am back to share a few skin care products I have been testing out - a few from the Dermastore purchases I made and some items from press drops I received.
First up is a product that was a life saver when we were traveling, La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+ stick. I've been struggling with skin sensitivity quite a bit this year with skin irritations flaring up out of nowhere. My skin becomes very itchy to the point where I almost want to cry. While browsing the Dermastore online shop I spotted this and popped it into my cart.

I took this with me on the plane because it is a solid and can easily be applied to my skin. The twist up tube makes it so easy to use on the go. its small size means you can pop it into your handbag and use it as you need.  I found that this product worked wonders at preventing my skin from drying out on the plane and I had no problems with tightness or dehydration after the long flights.
The stick is formulated to sooth itchy or dry skin. The key ingredients are Shea Butter, which helps to keep the skin smooth and moisturised; Madecassoside which is a plant extract that helps to revitalise the skin; and Zinc Gluconate helps support the skin's protein synthesis which is what assist wounds with healing.

You can use this product on any part of your body (even on your eyelids) and is suitable for the entire family - from babies to adults. One thing that I found particularly good was when I started getting a small Eczema flareup, this helped to treat the skin. I was truly amazed by this little stick - it prevented the area from going dry and "hard". Over a course of a week of continually treating the small spot, it disappeared.  My Eczema is generally triggered by stress and my hormones so it makes it difficult to predict when I will get a flare up so it's good to have something like this on standby to help me.

I bought this from the Dermastore online store for R180 and enjoyed it so much that when I spotted this in my local Dischem store I quickly grabbed one off the shelf.

    Big Hugs,
    Charlene XXX
