• Uriage Eau Thermale Light Water Cream SPF20

I am always on the hunt for a good light weight cream that packs a hydration punch. In the evenings I don't mind a rich, thick face cream but for the day I like something that is light and absorbs quickly. I have tried a lot of good creams but I find that I keep coming back to the Uriage Eau Thermale Light Water Cream. The strange thing is that I haven't actually ever posted a review of it on here before.
Uriage is well known for their thermal water that helps to rebuild the skin barrier to help your skin maintain its moisture levels.  The moisturiser also contains active ingredients to protect your skin from the damaging effects of pollution while protecting your skin from the sun (there is a version of this moisturiser without SPF in it so if you go shopping, make sure to choose the one you want).

What I like about this cream is that it absorbs very quickly and within a few minutes my skin feels hydrated. With continuous use, overall my skin feels soft, moisturised and the typical dehydration lines I get around my eyes are far less noticeable.

At around R215 for 40ml, I feel this is great value for money because it does exactly what I need it to do. A little also goes a really long way, so a tube lasts me just over 2 months. I keep coming back to this moisturiser and I do consider it to be one of my skincare staples. It's available at Dischem and Clicks should you want to test this out for yourself.

    Big Hugs,

    1. This definitely sounds like something I will love! And it seems to be amazing value for money. Like you I am also always on the look out for that extra bit of hydration - so keen to try this!

    2. Sounds great! I already use an SPF 50 sunblock combined with my usual day cream. Do you think I should get the Uriage without SPF for this reason? I never know if layering sunblocks is bad or not.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment ♡
