• Elgydium Brilliance & Care Whitening Treatment

I am a coffee drinker, this means that I always use whitening tooth paste to help prevent staining. I've also tried some off the shelf teeth whitening products, only to be left with sensitive teeth afterwards. This has made me a bit scared to try out whitening kits. When I was sent the Elgydium Brilliance & Care Whitening Treatment to test out, I read that this is a gentle treatment without peroxide or bleaching agents which set my mind at ease. I will be starting the treatment today and tracking it over a 2 week period. I'm very eager to see how this goes and I'll track my progress for you.
Elgydium Brilliance & Care Whitening Treatment is a polishing paste that is said to reduce stains caused by coffee, tea, wine and nicotine. Bamboo Silica and Mineral Silica beads are used to polish teeth without damaging the enamel layer of your teeth - so this means sensitivity should not be an issue after the treatment period. The treatment also contains Fluorinol which binds to the tooth enamel to remineralise and reinforce it. This reduces tooth sensitivity.

How I am going to run the trial:
The treatment must be used twice a week instead of usual toothpaste. I will start the treatment on the Monday and then follow up with it on a Thursday. In between I'll be using the Elgydium Whitening toothpaste.

I was sent a bold and bright fushia lipstick to wear - bold colours like this are intimidating because discoloured teeth are very noticeable when smiling. I'll take a before and after picture wearing the lipstick to show results. I just hope my lighting plays nice so that the conditions are similar.

Once I have completed my two week trial, I'll update this post with my results so that everything is housed in one post. I'll make sure to share links to this post on my social media accounts

If you are eager to try this treatment out for yourself the Elgydium Brilliance & Care Whitening Treatment costs R69.95 (30ml) and the whitening toothpaste is R59.95 (75ml). The brand is available at Dischem (shop online). Clicks also stocks some of the Elgydium toothpastes (shop online)

    Big Hugs,
    Charlene XXX
