Time really has run away from me and I don't have any posts scheduled or photos of products. This past weekend I initially planned to sit down and schedule some posts but I decided to take a weekend to enjoy Cape Town. I am so glad that I decided to be a bit selfish and just spend time with the people I care about.
My weekend started with Samantha and JP - we went to Babylonstoren where we walked around and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. I really love visiting this place. I love working in the garden so visiting Babylonstoren really makes my heart happy because I appreciate all the work that goes into maintaining such a massive vegetable garden. Getting to share that with two of my favourite people is my idea of an ideal day.
I ended my day off with Samantha, we recently had our annual performance reviews (we both did well) and we decided to spend the day celebrating our achievements. It was glorious!
Sunday was breakfast with my best friends. Lazy, long breakfasts are our thing. We can sit chatting for an entire day if we don't keep an eye on the time (which we often don't do). I've been friends with Diksha and Genevieve for 13 years and I've loved growing into an adult with them.
The day was finished off with lunch at Spice Route, a workout at home (I am really enjoying our home gym and the convenience of it) then a quick pamper session while sorting out supper. This weekend was the best - I need to do it more often.
