• Epi-max | All purpose emollient moisturiser

I have been battling with eczema for a few months now. I have little breakouts of it on my legs and it is incredibly uncomfortable at times. I am quite lucky that my breakouts are quite small and not in visible areas but I still feel quite self-conscious of those areas.  After treating my spots I find that it starts improving then goes incredibly dry and itchy.  I received an Epi-max pressdrop a few days ago and immediately jumped into using the products.
Epi-max is a product based on the principle of cemtomacrogol cream which is formulated to provide an efficient and effective general emollient.  Emollients are a mixture of chemical agents that works on the epidermis layer of the skin to increase hydration by reducing evapration of water from the skin.

I was sent the a tube of Epi-max Cream (RSP R37), a tub of Epi-max cream (RSP R62), Epi-max Bathe (RSP R52) and Epi-max Plus Foot cream (RSP R37).  The cream is excellent at moisturising dry skin an relieving itchiness. The thing I really like about this cream is that it is surprisingly light-weight and not greasy at all.  The biggest issue with using traditional skin care products for dry skin, is that they really feel heavy on my skin and I tend to actually overheat with it on my skin. It is such a huge relief to use something that is effective at treating my skin but doesn't feel uncomfortable on my skin (if that makes any sense).

The foot cream is excellent at moisturising your feet and work so well on elbows and knees.  I tend to sit with my elbows on my desk which makes them quite dry, irritated and at times the skin looks quite horrible.  This cream really helps to soften and smoothe out the area while doing  great job of moisturing.

The Bathe oil is really something special. It smells so good - containing evening primrose oil, vitamin E and pure lavender essential oil. The oil leaves a fine layer on on my skin that helps to lock moisture in. It doesn't feel oily or greasy at all.  Bathing when my eczema is bad really doesn't help treat it at all, I end up doing more harm than good to it, but this bath oil allows me to enjoy my baths without compromising on my eczema treatment.

The best thing about these products is that they are not only affordable but very effective at treating dry and sensitive skin. These products are available at pharmacies across the country.  If you would like to read up more about the brand and products you can visit the Epi-max website.

    Big Hugs,
