• I had a facial at Body Treats in Wellington

A while back my sister and I were invited by Leigh from Body Treats to come experience a treatment in the Body Treats store in Wellington (a short drive from Cape Town). Last weekend we went for our treatment.

My sister and I decided to have facials - both of us going for the Rejuvenate facial. Priced at R350 for an hour long treatment, I was really pleasantly surprised by all that you get for such a low cost.  The facial is aimed at restoring hydration and improving the circulation in the skin.  The treatment includes a thorough cleansing, exfoliation, light steam, extractions, brow tidy, mask and closed off with a moisturiser. I left with really radiant skin that was plump and super smooth. One thing I really loved about the treatment was that you get so many extras as part of the treatment - face massage, scalp massage and had my eyebrows shaped. I still can't believe how affordable this treatment is. My beauty therapist was wonderful and at the end of the facial I sat sipping on a cup of tea which was the perfect end to such a relaxing treatment.
All the products used on my skin are made by Leigh and her team with natural ingredients. I really liked all the products used during my facial, so much so that I purchased everything before I left the store.  The great thing about Body Treat products (despite the good ingredients) is the price tags. I bought a stack of products without breaking the bank:
    1. Milk Cleanser (250g tub R115)
    2. Moisturiser (50g tub R89)
    3. Anti-age moisturiser (166g tub R191.50)
    4. Scrub (50g tub R110)
    5. Anti-Age mask (125g tub R70)
    6. Baobab & Rosewood Essential Oil (30ml bottle R180)
    7. Eczama Treatment cream (332g tub R193)
I have been using all of the skin care products and really enjoying them.  I will continue to test the range out for another few weeks and then do a post if all continues to go well.

Overall, I seriously love the Body Treats brand - the products and treatment I had in the store are fantastic.  If you live in the Cape Town or Wellington area, I seriously recommend popping by the Body Treats store and even booking yourself a beauty treatment.
