• Gosh Cosmetics

I haven't ever tried Gosh cosmetics before, I don't really know why. I think it is because I tend to buy only higher end products from Edgars when I go there for a specific purpose. I don't browse the makeup stands really which is bad because it does mean that I miss out on things...like Gosh. I received a lipstick pen, liquid eyeliner and eyeshadow trio.
Firstly, the colours of the eyeshadows and lipstick are right up my alley. I love purples and pinks so I immediately snapped a few pics and then began to play. The eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented. The colour in the pans are exactly what you can achieve effortlessly on your eyelids. They are creamy and easy to use and I haven't really experienced any fall off during use. What I also like is that you can easy switch up the placement of the colours to create different looks. I tend to like the pink on the crease and outer corner, purple in the middle and highlighter colour in the corners of my eyes. The pink is a matte, Purple is a shimmer with some glitter particles in it and the highlighter shade is as one would expect - shimmery without being glittery. Although the purple colour has glitter in it, it isn't overly glittery and doesn't give you that glitter fall off under your eyes. So ladies who worry about the glitter settling in the lines around their eyes, this shouldn't be a problem.

The lipstick is a buttery almost lip balm consistency that applies evenly and gives you beautifully pink lips that are slightly shiny. I am not a person who loves a lipgloss type look on my lips, so this product is perfect for me. Especially when you are on the go and quickly want to add some colour. My lips feel and look hydrated after using this and as I mentioned before, the pink shade is so pretty.

I won't lie, liquid liners scare me. I feel so much safer and more confident using gel pens or khol pencils for lining my lids. But getting liquid liners are always welcome because it forces me to play around and improve my application technique. This liner has a very sharp applicator which means you can achieve a very defined, thin line and build it up to a thicker line should you choose to. I find that some liners give me such a thick line in the inner corner of my eye that it is a bit too bold and strong for the makeup looks I like. As I got more confident with using it I find that I simply adjust the angle of the applicator as I line to achieve a slightly thicker line. The colour is also very pigmented meaning you don't have to go over and over the same line to get it to show up dark black.

I am really glad Edgars sent me these products to try out. Gosh is really a great quality brand and all three of these products get a thumbs up from me. I definitely want to go have a look at more of their eyeshadows. They are perfect for everyday use.

    Big Hugs,
