• Copenhagen | Botanical Garden

I missed last week's Copenhagen post, but I thought I will continue them. The purpose of these posts is to be a bit of a break from the usual beauty content and also to make me feel great for the weekend ahead. So today I am sharing two photos from The University of Copenhagen Botanical Garden. The best part of the garden is definitely The Palm House - a glass house built in 1870.

One thing I can say is that you cannot visit here having something like Kirstenbosch Gardens in your head. I was initially somewhat disappointed when we went there but once I realised that this is meant to be a public park, is free to walk through and is maintained by the Copenhagen University, then it's such a beautiful escape from the city. Even though the city is beautiful it feels very dull and grey after a while and you need these types of spaces.

The thing that I loved most about this place is how quiet it was. JP and I went through very early and it mostly was just the two of us there. It was towards the end of our trip so we sat chatting about all we had done and what we had left to do.

    Big Hugs,
