• Hello...I'm Back!

I am back from my short holiday. While I was away I celebrated my birthday and had a great holiday.
It was really such a wonderful break and I really enjoyed the rest. I thought I would share a few photos with those of you who don't follow me on Instagram (if you don't click here to start following). We chose to stay in Ballots Bay, a few kilometres outside of George in a self catering house overlooking Ballots Bay beach, Serendipity Coastal Lodge.
It was truly such an amazing place to stay in - the house offers the full comforts of home and it is surrounded by beautiful views. As soon as we arrived we felt so relaxed. If you are looking to stay in the George area, I can highly recommend this place.

On the second day the weather was a bit gloomy in Ballots Bay so we chose to go to Oudtshoorn to visit the Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Ranch. It was really great to go back to these places, I was last there over 10 years ago (makes me feel VERY old).
We chose to spend quite a bit of time doing some of the many hiking trails at Ballots Bay because the area was so incredibly beautiful. One of these walks was along the abandoned Outeniqua Choo-tjoe railway lines. It was such a fantastic walk, very quiet with views that were breathtaking.
I really loved the break and do wish that it was slightly longer, but I have another trip lined up at the end of May that has me VERY excited!

It is good to be back! Hope you all have a great day.

    Big Hugs,
    Charlene XXX
