• Oceanic AA Ultra Hydration Make-up Remover

I was sent a bottle of Oceanic AA Ultra Hydration Moisturising Micellar Make-up Remover, Eyelash Care to try out a few weeks ago. I have tried a few micellar makeup removers and this is by far one of the best ones I have used. What sets this apart for the others is that it is specifically geared towards people with sensitive skin and helps alleviate dehydration.

The product has a really fresh, almost ocean scent to it which makes it a pleasure to use. The solution is very soft on your skin and removes makeup very well. I tried this on my Nudestix eyeshadow pencil (which usually takes some persuading to get off) and the eyeshadow came off very easily with no rubbing. The ultimate test is always waterproof mascara - if you take cotton pads with some of the makeup remover on it and let it rest on your eyes for about 30 seconds it does help to budge the product from your lashes. When I move to my usual face cleansing routine the mascara comes off very easily. The solution contains no alcohol so it isn't going to dissolve tough makeup but it means that it is safe to use on your eyes and skin.

As mentioned this is a hydrating makeup remover - it has Hyaluronic acid and Durvillea antartica algae extract. There is also Provitamin B5 which nourishes your lashes. The makeup remover does not need to be rinsed off after use, in fact it leaves my skin so clean that I often question whether or not I should even bother washing my face. On days were I do just want to jump into bed I use this and apply my night cream with no problems. I however don't do this every night as I do believe in a thorough double cleansing facial routine.

All in all, I am very impressed with this product and it's something I will replace once the bottle is up. You can purchase this online from the Glamore online store. A 200ml bottle costs R165 which is cheaper than the usual micellar makeup remover I buy.

    Big Hugs,

PS. The Glamore website also sells makeup. I did a post a while back on Hean Cosmetics. Click here to read it.
