• 5 PRODUCTS | GEE WHISKERS

This week is 5 Products week on Gee Whiskers. I asked 4 bloggers to join me this week in sharing their current 5 favourite products. These bloggers haven't been featured on Gee Whiskers before, so I am really excited to share my space with some new voices. For today, I'll be sharing my current favourite products. I'll try to keep the post as short as possible. Here we go...

    1. Inglot Travel Brush Set
For weekends away and holidays this is just the perfect little makeup brush set. The brushes are super soft and make applying makeup so easy. I also love the compact little size of the pouch because it is small enough to pop into your handbag as well. The kit comes with a face brush, blush brush, concealer brush, angled eyeshadow brush, blending eyeshadow brush and lip brush. Available from Inglot stores or from their online store for R449.
    2. Dior Pore Minimizer Skin Refining Matte Primer
I can't say enough good things about this primer. As the name suggests, it minimises the appearance of pores, fine lines and perfects skin tone. This is applied under your makeup to give your skin a flawless appearance, even close up. When I apply this to my skin, it literally looks like I am erasing the pores off my skin - honestly, go to a Dior counter and test this out for yourself. I loved this so much that I bought the very last one for my sister as a Birthday gift and was upset that the counter didn't have another one for me - luckily my friends Bronwyn (Mother City Mom) and Nicole (PrincessNoo) had bought me one for Christmas. I paid R590 for my sister's one and with the recent price hikes I am not too sure what the cost is. If you are looking to invest in a primer - I suggest this one.
    3. Loccitane Sublime Beauty Cream
For everyday makeup I always wear a BB Cream and this is my second tube of this BB Cream. I love this BB Cream because it is hydrating, perfects the appearance of my skin and has an SPF of 30. This costs R470 for 40ml, which is steep compared to some BB Creams however, this BB Cream is a skin perfecting one that has great benefits for your skin - it improves the appearancee of your skin over time instead of just masking imperfections. You can buy this from L'Occitane stores and their online store. Comes in Light and Medium shades. You can read my full review by clicking here.
    4. Dior Lip Glow - Color Reviver Balm
There are some products that you always reach for when you are battling with something. When I have dry, dehydrated lips this is my go to balm. As much as this lip balm is known for bringing out the natural pink tones in your lips its real claim to fame should be how great it heals and revives your lips. I get badly dehydrated at times - this balm soothes them and helps to heal them. I will never be without this lip balm...ever! When I first bought this lip balm it was R380 and is now up to well over R400 a balm. It is expensive, not doubting that - but for me it is a must have product. Click here to read my full review.
    5. Nudestix | Angel
I did a post on this not too long ago and it has quickly become a staple product in my makeup application. I can honestly say that I won't ever easily apply eyeshadow without first using this. It primes the lids well and once it has set, it does not budge! This makes your eyeshadow last all day. There are a number of colours available for R350 from the 27Pinkx online store. So there are my 5 current favourite products. Tomorrow Leigh from FairLeigh will be sharing her top products.

Hope you all have a great day and week ahead.

    Big Hugs,
