• Valentine's Day Makeup and Nails

I know Valentine's Day is officially over ( hope you all had a great day), but I thought I would share my Valentine's Day makeup and manicure that I wore on Saturday.
Instead of red I decided to go with bright pinks on my nails and lips and soft pink for my eyeshadow and cheeks for the day.
    Manicure:
Tip Top Nails Pot-O-Berries on my nails. Tip Top No Way Rose on my accent nail topped with Sorbet's Sparkling Reverie.
    Makeup:
Face - Dior Pore Minimising Primer and Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet Foundation
Eyes - Dior Eyeshadow in Pink Pompadour (954) and Chanel Sublime Mascara
Cheeks - Chanel Blush in shade 65
Lips - Dior Lip Glow and Dior Fluid Stick in Rieuse (373)

I don't wear this type of makeup everyday, my Dior and Chanel is mostly reserved for special outings. During the week I wear much more modest makeup because the pricetag of high end products are just too steep to consistently use...the replacement costs are scary! I do however believe in saving up for products you like and treating yourself - so as much as I sometimes feel the need to explain myself - I do believe I deserve the spoils because I work hard for them.

Hope you all have a great day!

    Big Hugs,
    Charlene XXX

      1. The surprising thing is that my husband chose this for me with absolute no direction - I was really impressed. It is one of my favourite products.

    4. You look gorgeous! Go on then...it takes forever to actually use up makeup so it won't need replacing for aaaaages. That's my theory anyway ;)
