L'Occitane is definitely one of my favourite brands. I used the Firming and Smoothing Milk Concentrate for about 2 weeks - it is already finished but I just haven't gotten around to writing a review.
I really love consistency of this product, it is light almost like a lotion but moisturising like a great body butter. The lotion practically melts into my skin and instantly moisturises my very dry skin. Over time my skin definitely felt smoother and softer but I didn't really notice any firming or tightening. I think one needs to use this for a longer time period to notice that. I found that this definitely helped soothe my sensitive skin and I particularly liked using it on my legs after shaving. I really love the almond fragrance and how perfectly balanced it is. It is such a treat to use products from this range.
From the L'Occitane website:
L'Occitane blends both tradition (the use of almond proteins to firm the epidermis) and science (soft silicium to help support collegen synthesis) into a silky, concentrate milk that nourishes and smoothes the skin. Helps to firm and tone. Suitable for the whole body.
A 100ml tub retails for R480 and a 200ml tub for R690. The price tag is steep for a lotion but if you are purchasing L'Occitane products you do so because you have the money to spend on it or you don't mind saving up to get the great quality products. Will I buy a full size tub - probably not because I am going through an oil phase at the moment so I'd rather purchase another bottle of the Almond Body Oil (read my review here). However, that being said, if you prefer lotions to oils this is a definite winner!
