• REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial

I few weeks ago I received a whole bunch of goodies from REN to try out. One of these products was a sample of their Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial.
It is a 1 miniute treatment that revitilases and rejuvenates the skin. This is because it is formulated with potent water-activated Vitamin C that neutralises the dull grey in our skin while firming, toning and smoothing skin. It also reduces the signs of fatigue, photo-ageing and skin imperfections.

    From REN's website:
    • Vitamin C from Ascorbic Acid stimulates collagen synthesis, evens out skin tone and provides instant radiance to the skin
    • Boswellic Acid from Boswellia Serrata Bark relaxes micro-contractions of facial tissue to smooth lines
    • Glycogen Magnesium from Marine Glucose Mineral boosts skin energy and radiance
The mask is quite granular in texture which helps to exfoliate the skin before water is added.  When water is added it turns into a milky lotion which is left on for 1 minute. Massage your skin to help it absorb the Vitamin C, Boswellic Acid and Glycogen Magnesium. I have tried this mask in different ways - using it for 1 minute and up to 5 minutes. The 1 minute treatment definitely gives my skin a noticeable improvement in the appearance of my skin. I also noticed that my skin felt firmer and smoother - this is what a good dose of Vitamin C does to your skin. Using this for 5 minutes had better results in regards to the visible firming and toning.

I am a huge fan of doing facials at home which one should ideally do 3 times a week. However I do not always have the time during the week to do a proper facial. Having a product like this is perfect on the days I know I should be doing the facial but don't have the time.

A 75ml tube retails for R470 at selected Woolworths stores. This will also be available in Foschini stores in October.  If you have any questions about the product leave me a message in the comment section below.

    2. Oooooh, I need me some Ren! Is it similar to the cleansing balm? Sounds like it by the directions. Great post :)

      1. Not entirely like a balm. You don't need a muslin cloth to remove it and doesn't leave your face with any oily residue.
