• L'Occitane Sublime Beauty Cream

I have done quite a bit of shopping lately and it is becoming rather difficult to keep track of the products that I want to review on my blog.  Anyway, now that, it is covered.  Those of you who follow my blog know that I love using BB Creams.  I have tried numerous BB Creams and recently picked up L'Occitane Sublime Beauty Cream.
I have been using this BB cream every day for about 3 weeks now. I love the consistency of the cream.  It is silky, creamy and incredibly light.  I like using face care products that are effective at their job while being light on my skin.  There is only one shade which is called Clear / Light. I use quite a little of this cream because of my light skin tone. What is great about this is that although it is a light cream the coverage is buildable for days where I need a bit more coverage than usual and also good for darker skin tones. The BB Cream has a powdery finish that is the perfect base for makeup.  Another great thing about this BB Cream is that it it has an SPF of 30 which is a lot more than most BB creams I have personally used.

Now for a bit more information about the product - it is made with a combination of white iris and angelica. The flowers are known for their hydrating properties and the vitality it gives to the skin.  The organic extracts of these two flowers leaves the skin looking and feeling perfect.

40ml costs R470 which is not cheap for a BB Cream but I wanted to pick up a few L'Occitane products to give the brand a proper test run.  I have always loved L'Occitane but the truth of the matter is many people simply cannot afford to purchase many of their products. I however do feel that this is a brand worth saving up for to get a few core products.  A good example is the Almond Body Oil I have already reviewed (read it here). By investing in some of the products you'll be able to boost other products and give your skin the high quality ingredients it needs.

Now for the all important question - will I buy this again? Definitely!  A 40ml tube will last me about 3 months which I think is worth saving R147 for a month.

    Big Hugs,
    Charlene XXX
