• The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet

I am a massive fan of skin care. I spend a lot more time on my skin care routine than on doing my makeup and I also find it far more enjoyable than applying makeup.  I feel most beautiful when my skin looks good.  The biggest problem I have with my skin is that it is very dehydrated.  I am therefore always on the look out for product that help boost the moisture in my skin and that is why I recently purchased the new The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet moisturiser.

The label is initially what drew me to the product. As soon as I see anything moisturising I grab it to read the label. This product is incredibly pretty! It comes is a beautiful glass jar and because the moisturiser is pink it makes the whole product such a pretty thing to look at.  I tried this out in the store and as soon as I opened the jar I was sold. It has a beautiful moringa flower scent which is one of my favourites from The Body Shop.

The moisturiser itself is similar to a gel however it is much thinner in consistency and feels incredibly light on the skin.  At first when applying the moisturiser, it has an almost granular type of feeling on the skin (I don't really know how else to describe it) but once absorbed the product is barely noticeable on the skin - it is not an unpleasant feeling but just something I wanted to mention.  I discovered that the reason for this is because the product contains mineral particles that help to absorb oil and mattify skin.  It absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves your skin looking plumper and beautifully moisturised.  After the first few days of use I noticed overall my skin felt more hydrated and the usual dehydration lines I get around my eyes were a little less nticeable.

Initially I bought this thinking it would be a nice supplement to my other moisturisers, because I thought it wouldn't be moisturising enough on its own - well I was wrong. This is more than good enough on its own and definitely perfect for those who battle with dehydrated or dry skin.  In fact, because of the mineral particles, this is suitable for all skin types.

The best part of this product is its affordability.  At only R135 this is an absolute steal and something that I definitely will purchase time and time again!
