• Davines NaturalTech Replumping Collection

I have very fine hair that has been looking rather dull and lifeless lately.  I was quite despondent about it and actually hated doing my hair.  I finally decided to do something about it and invested in some Davine's products.
    Shampoo R226 for 250ml
This shampoo is packed with active ingredients to give your hair elasticity, moisture and protection.  It has rich, creamy consistency that produces thick foam.  A tiny amount of this shampoo goes a long way.  It really cleanses hair well and gets rid of product buildup without stripping your hair.

    Conditioner R210 for 150ml
As with the shampoo, the conditioner is packed with essential petit grain oil (gives elasticity and compactness), gentle surfactants (to gently clean) and plum phytoceutical (to prevent cell ageing).  The consistency is thick and cream like that detangles hair and deeply nourishes hair.  The fragrance is rather difficult to describe, it isn't fruity or forally.  To me it smells of some sort of energy drink.  I know it sounds strange but I can't think of a better way to describe it.  I don't think it will be everyone's cup to tea but I like it.

Hair Filler Superactive R320 for 100ml
I usually struggle with hair treatments because I have fine hair and most treatments weigh my hair down terribly.  This treatment is used to compact, tonify and replump the hair structure to make your hair look fuller and thicker.  It also gives hair a long lasting hold so it is excellent to use before styling your hair.  What I also love is that the treatment has an anti-humidity effect which helps with my flyaways and frizz.

I bought this whole set for R530 because Carlton's was running a special where you get the shampoo for free when you buy the conditioner and treatment.  This was something I treated myself to for my Birthday and I truly believe it was worth for every cent.  My hair is fuller, in much better condition and more shiny.

When I bought my products I had my hair trimmed at Carltons and had the Replumping Hair Filler Supplement treatment done.  It was R350 because I have long hair.  After washing and towel drying your hair they apply the treatment to your hair and put a plastic cap over your hair.  Thereafter you sit under a heated machine to allow the treatment to penetrate you hair.  The treatment contains Hydroclauric Acid that deeply hydrates your hair.  The treatment lasts 6 - 8 shampoos but using the replumping collection you can ensure that your hair will continue to look great.

Sorry for the rather long post but I wanted to do a proper review of these products.

    Big Hugs,
    Charlene XXX

      1. It truly is great. I am a little too scared to try the new shampoo and conditioner that I bought a while ago.

    2. This sounds amazing! I've always wanted to try their Oi Oil. My hairdresser used it on me for my wedding day and it totally transformed my hair. Lovely post (and no, def not too long!)!

      1. The Oi Oil is fantastic and really smells amazing. When Carlton's has specials you can pick up a small bottle of the oil for around R200.
