• Valentine's Day Series; Lipgloss Kisses

Today the lovely Chicara from Lipgloss Kisses is sharing her Valentine's post.  I am thrilled with it and I am sure many of you will love what she has put together.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, which means that couples everywhere will be on the lookout for unique and fun date ideas. If your boyfriend or husband is taking you somewhere special then I have two trendy looks that could work for you.

If your significant other is whisking you away for a special dinner then why not wear this flirty skirt from Mr Price (R119), which can be made sexier with gorgeous platform heels (R399 from ZOOM) and a pretty sheer blouse (R270 at Foschini). If you want to spend the evening batting your eyelashes at your beau then you're going to need a few coats of Smashbox Hyperlash Mascara (R220 at Woolworths). A pop of red to get in the Valentine's spirit can be worn on your nails (Lancôme Le Vernis in Love Nail Polish R185) and a juicy Stila Lip & Cheek Stain (R225) for extra kissable lips. Also don't forget to spritz yourself with a sexy scent before stepping out. D&G Rose The One EDP (from R725) is the perfect perfume for a romantic night out.

Is your cutie taking you on a relaxed, romantic picnic for two? Then why not try a casual look with this maxi skirt from Mr Price. (R119). Pair it with a cute top in a pretty pink like this textured floral crop top also from Mr Price (R59.99). This outfit will look perfect with a pair of leather sandals like these from Utopia at Zando.co.za (R359). Accessorize by wearing your heart on your chest with this hearts chain from Style36(R229). A nice subtle makeup look will go beautifully with this outfit. Try a pink lip with Essence's XXXL Shine Lip Gloss in Just Gorgeous. (R25) and soft eyes with Stila countless colour eye shadow  in groupie (R255) and BLOOM Full and Flirty Mascara in Brown (R225). And last, but certainly not least tempt your sweetheart by spraying yourself with a light, summery fragrance like Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia (from R699)
Thank you Chicara for putting together such beautiful looks for my readers.  I am certain many people have some great ideas for the day.

    Big Hugs,
    Charlene

    4. I love both of these. One thing I'd avoid on a date is any necklaces that rest on your chest because they get in the way while hugging :)

      1. Good call Natasha! I think these are quite flat though. But the outfit can be worn with or without the necklace I'm sure. :) Thanks for commenting xx

      2. I just realised that this is probably more a problem if you don't have much padding around that area :D

    5. LOVE the little skirt with bow detail - I saw it at Mr Price this weekend and somehow resisted buying it. I think this post just changed my mind… great post, Chicara!
