• Rain Rooibos Hydrating Hand Lotion

I have become incredibly bad with applying hand cream.  I used to apply hand cream all the time but recently I have been so slack.  At the Cape Town Blogger meet I received a Rain Rooibos Hydrating hand lotion from their Biologie range which forced me to get my butt into gear.

I really do love many of Rain's products so I was very excited to try it out.  I prefer hand lotions to hand creams because they are lighter on my skin and I don't have to deal with greasy hands preventing me from doing my work.  The lotion is a pretty pink colour and thin in consistency.  It has a rooibos scent to it but to me it smells more like my favourite rooibos yoghurt.

    Ingredients taken off Rain's website:

    • Marula Oil* - high anti oxidant activity, free radical scavenger
    • Kalahari Melon Oil*- regenerates & restructures, high in anti oxidants
    • Rosehip Oil – reduces scarring, pigmentation & sun spots
    • Shea Butter* - high in vitamins A, E & F – improves skin tone
    • Tocopherol (Vitamin E) - Protects skin cells from cancer causing free radicals.
    • Wild Harvested African Oils
    • 100% Naturally Derived Ingredients

The hand lotion, although thin in consistency, hydrates incredibly well.  One automatically assumes lotion does not work all that well with hydrating skin but this hand lotion is fantastic.  A 60ml tube retails for R49.

    Big hugs,
