• My Little Gems: Clarins Hydra Quench Cream Mask

I have so many mini products that I thought I would do a few posts to cover my favourites.  Kicking off the posts is the Clarins Hydra Quench Cream Mask.  I got this in the Christmas gift set that Clarins released last year.  It came with a Hyrdating Moisuriser and face serum.  The whole set cost me R460 (I think) and has definitely been worth it.
This mask has a rich, creamy consistency and spreads easily across your skin.  As with the moisturiser and serum, the fragrance is sort and refreshing.  It is quite difficult to describe but to me is smells like a jug of water filled with ice.  There is no underlying floral or fruity scent so I can't think of a better way to describe it.  Its rich consistency means you get a really rich face mask that is absolutely perfect for people who need a deeply nourishing and hydrating treatment.

I find that my skin looks plump and smooth after using this face mask, with some dehydration lines disappearing completely after use.

    Directions:
Apply to a freshly cleansed and exfoliated face.  Leave for 5 -10 minutes (although I tend to leave this on for as long as I can handle it - sometimes up to an hour). Remove with cotton pads soaked in toning lotion.  If you do not have toning lotion, a quick wash with luke warm water is enough.  Try not to wash all of the product off your face though to ensure the moisture remains in your skin.  Apply a light moisturiser after removal of the mask.

There is only 15ml of product in this tube so I have been using it very sparingly.  Managed to squeeze 2 full treatments out of it with the third treatment concentrating on my problem areas only.  Not too bad at all.

Let me know what you think.

    Big hugs,
    Charlene XXX

    3. I've also enjoyed using my samples. Such a great product, might have to invest in the normal size. :)
