I really love artisan markets and always enjoy walking around, looking in awe at all the beautiful handmade items. This coming weekend Cavendish Mall (in Cape Town) is hosting a Birthday Market from 2 - 4 August 2013.
Everything sold is hand crafted, produced and packaged in the Western Cape. This will be a showcase of all things beautiful that the Western Cape has to offer. It is so exciting!
The Birthday Market runs from Friday 2 August until 4 August. Trading hours: Friday and Saturday 9am to 7pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm.
The Made in the Cape Market is running a competition on facebook where you can win a R400 voucher. For those who would like to enter you have until 31 June 2013 to do so. Just click on this link.
