• Dior Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm

    I am a huge fan of Dior.  Those of you who follow me on Instagram and Twitter would have seen that I spoiled myself to some Dior products.  One of these products is the amazing Dior Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm.

    At its core this is meant to be a lip balm that deeply mosturises and hydrates lips.  It is definitely one of the best lip balms I have ever used because my lips feel incredible for hours after applying it.  But what makes this lip balm extra special (besides the fact that it is Dior) is that it revives your lips' natural colour.  This means that it brings out the natural colour of your lips which gives the appearance of a lip tint or sheer lipstick. For me the colour is a pretty pink and some days it is almost red.  I really love this because each time I apply it I get a nice surprise.

     Now, this is expensive for a lip balm (You are looking at around R380) and it is not something you are going to buy because you need it...it is a treat and meant to be a spoil.  Will I buy this again?...Yes!

      I think it is an awesome concept and looks like fun, but I wouldn't pay R380 for a lip balm! I think everything from Dior is a bit of a spoil, so I'd rather spend the money on a Dior lipstick or lip gloss instead. Lip balm sort of falls into the necessity category rather than the lust-list category for me. But it does suit you a lot, and I'm so happy you got a Dior product that feels like a bit of luxury :)

        I agree, R380 for a lip balm is crazy. I hardly wear lipsticks but wear lipbalm all the time so this suits my purposes...but at R380 at irst I won't be using it like mad. It is a pure treat for me.

        It is something you get "just because you can". I really wish I had LOTS of money to give things like this away...maybe I should buy one or two luxury items and give that away instead of bigger hampers...something I will think about :)
