I was walking around Clicks the other day and spotted this cute eyeshadow pen from Almay. It is call Almay intense i-color shadow stick.
The pen retails for R99 however when I went to the till it was only R60, such a bargain! I chose the 030 pen for Hazel eyes. The colours are very pretty, the brown is a beautiful shade with a little bit of shimmer. The pink is very subtle but noticeable. These colours are perfect for a natural look when you want your cheeks, lips or mascara to be the main focus.
The eyeshadows are creamy in texture and apply smoothly. To build up the colour one needs to "colour in" your eye lids and it does take quite a while to build up any noticeable colour. But because this is in a pen form it is easy to apply and line the bottom of your lids. The eyeshadow lasts well throughout the day and doesn't crease.
I really like this eyeshadow pen and use it along with my other eyeshadows. It is fun to play around with the looks and this works so well as a primer on lids as well.
Let me know if you have tried this our for yourself.
Big Hugs,
Charlene XXX
I'll keep an eye out for these. The brown looks very pretty :)
ReplyDeleteI love the brown.
DeleteOooh, do you know if they have one for green eyes?
ReplyDeleteThey sure do, it is a Dark grape purple and light blue.
DeleteThis reminds me of the Clinique Chubby Stick for eyes :) But it is so much more affordable!

I would love to own a Clinque Chubby Stick eyeshadow. But yes, the Almay is WAY more affordable.
DeleteThis one reminds me of the Revlon Smoky Shadow Stick in Torch...same colours. I enjoy using mine but find I have to set it with an eyeshadow otherwise it creases...
ReplyDeleteI love it when I get to the till and something is cheaper! xx
I haven't seen the Revlon one before :)
