Thank you Amina for the Liebster Award!

I was recently nominated for another Liebster Award by Amina from Oh! Just one more!. She recently started her VERY beautiful blog and has already put up so many amazing reviews of products.  I know Amina from Beauty Bulletin and was so happy to see that she took the plunge to start her own log.  Thank you so much for the nomination Amina.  I'll drive straight into the questions.

1. How long have you been blogging?

My blog recently turned 1 so Gee Whiskers is still a tiny baby in the blogging community.

2. Do you prefer tea or coffee?

Coffee most definitely. I am the type of person that can happily spend all morning in a coffee shop sipping on coffee and chatting to friends.

3. If you were stuck on an island, who would you want with you there?

Oh gosh, this is difficult because I don't even want to picture being in that scenario.  It would have to be someone who can put up with all my quirks.

4. What's the last book you have read?

I started reading The Help, because I refuse to watch the movie before reading the book.  It is going slowly because I just don't have much spare time in the evenings to read.

5. What beauty product could you not live without?

Mascara! It is the one product that immediately makes a person look done up and only take 1 minute if you are in a rush.

6. What do you spend bulk of your day doing?

I don't want to be boring - but for all people who work, you spend the bulk of it either working or sleeping :P

7. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Inconsiderate people.  People who have no consideration for people and things around them immediately make me want to scream.

8. What inexpensive makeup item do you swear by?

Zambuk cherry lip balm.  It is only R4.99 and is perfect for keeping your lips in a good condition.  I also dab a little on my cheeks in winter when my skin needs some extra protection from the cold.

9. Which celebrity are you currently crushing on?

I don't really develop crushes on celebrities and I am not the type of person to get star struck.  So it is difficult to say.  But my favourite actor is Johnny Depp.

10. If you could star in one movie, which movie would it be and who would you act as?

My favourite movies are The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, because for many years as a child/teenager I was literally obsessed with Egypt and spent many hours watching any documentary on Egypt.  So I would choose The Mummy Returns and be Rachel Weisz's character 'Evie" because in the second movie she does kick ass at least.

11. Milk, dark or white chocolate?

I am not a serious fan of chocolate. But when I do crave some chocolate it usually ends up being milk chocolate (I usually get a Chocolate Log, Pepperming Aero or Kit Kat).
