Lately I have seen so many bloggers redesigning their blogs and creating such beautiful buttons and headers. It got me thinking that when I initially started my blog I went with what was appealing to me, but the truth is that I am not the one looking at the "front-end" each day. I have been going back and forth about what I could change to make it look fresher or more appealing to my readers. Then it occurred to me that I should just ask your honest opinions. I know none of you will be maliciously mean, but honest. I like my dots - because I do like the colour. So I was thinking that maybe I need to design a new header, some buttons and such. Any ideas would be most welcome!
I'm clueless when it comes to these things! I like the look of your blog. Keep the dots and the colour. Simple is better, I think! Xx

DeleteI like it the way it is. If you want to change anything then do it because you want it a specific way, but I think everyone who reads your blog likes it already. It is simple and easy to use, anything else is like putting a cherry on the icing on a cake, not necessary but just for decoration? That's just my opinion.

ReplyDeleteBut, I agree with the above comments. Your blog is great just as it is, it's easy to use and nothing is distracting us from your posts.
I will definitely give you a shout once I make up my mind. I think a header and some labels for my sidebar will just lift the front end a bit. I really appreciate the offer to help. I will email you to get your rates and such. Big hugs!

Perhaps make your margins on the right a bit wider and spread your main alignment so that it fills more of the screen and one can see bigger images. One thing that draws people in is big pretty pictures and plenty of visibility. For blog buttons there are plenty of pretty ones available for free just google until you find ones that connect with you, you can also perhaps check out Etsy for free icons too.

DeleteI like your blog the way it is but aybe you could redesign your header a bit :) Also, a pretty menu bar on top could be nice since you have a few button on top.
