    Spring time eyes

    Products:

    1. Clinique High impact mascara - Available at most department stores (this is a little sample I have)
    2. Accessorize eyeshadow Icon in soft pink - R49.99 from Clicks
    3. Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in 12 I have a green - Available from Clicks and Dischem
    4. Avon Glow Powder Eyeshadow in Electric Violet - R49.00 from Avon
    5. All in one face base from The Body Shop - R145.00 from The Body Shop

How to achieve the simple look:

    1. Prepare your eyelid with either an eyeshadow primer or normal face powder.  I prefer using a face base powder.
    2. Line the top of your eyelid with a green eyeliner.  Do the line quite dark and a little bit thicker than you'd normally do.
    3. Next take a bright purple colour eyeshadow and create a dark thin line above the green eyeliner.
    4. Take the same purple and smudge it up over the rest of your eyelid up until the crease of your eye lid.
    5. Take a light pink and shade it from the crease of your eye lid up to the brow bone.
    6. Finish off the look with a coat of mascara.

    Tips:

    1. I wear a shade of sheer pink lipstick with this look, my favourite being Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour lip protectant sheer tint stick in Blush.  This retails for around R125.
    2. You want the green line to pop, so if need be, after you've complete the look go over the green line one more time.
    3. For a bit of a twist, line the bottle of your lids with a green or purple pencil.

    Disclaimer:

I am by no means a makeup artist, nor am I pretending to be one.  All the looks I share will be very simple and easy to do.
