• Davines Absolute Beautifying Potion

I have incredibly fine hair that is easily weighed down by products.  A few weeks ago I started using Davines Absolute Beautifying Potion with Roucou Oil for all kinds of hair.  With a name like that you'd expect miracles and to be 100% honest, my experience has been exactly that!

For my hair I only need 1 pump of oil which I rub between my hands to warm it up and then I apply it to the lengths of my towel dried hair.  I am incredibly lazy when it comes to styling my hair so the way I blow dry my hair is not conducive to getting sleek hair with no flyaways - but with this oil I am able to simply lean over forward and blow dry my hair in the usual way.  The end result is always the same - shiny, sleek hair with zero flyaways.  The oil can also be applied to just styled hair to tame frizz and flyaways.  It also gives your hair a beautiful shine that makes your hair look naturally healthy.

What I have noticed over the past 8 weeks is that my hair's strength has improved a lot and using this together with the Aussie Luscious Long range I only need to wash my hair 2 times a week.  In the past I had to wash my hair every day because my hair use to look limp and had a lot of flyaways.

This 135ml bottle retails for around R600 and yes, I know that is very expensive, but using only 1 or 2 pumps means this bottle will last me about a year.  So R50 a month is something I can easily live with.  You can purchase this oil from all Carlton's Hair Salons.

    1. I have never thought of spending so much money on my hair :) but when you break it down like that it kinda makes sense.

      1. I know exactly what you mean Kerry - believe me, it was not easy at all parting with that amount of money but one just has to remember it's a once off thing for many months :)
